Minesweeper 43
1943 type minesweeper.

In order to reduce construction time, the minesweepers of this type were prefabricated and built in sections which were later assembled in the shipyards. However, only 17 units were commissioned by the end of the war.

TECHNICAL DATA

Displacement: Standard 670 mt, full load 821 mt.

Dimensions: Waterline length 63.1 m, overall length 68 m, beam 9 m, maximum draft 2.6 m.

Armament: 2 x 10.5cm/L45, 2 x 3.7cm/L83, up to 6 x 2cm.

Propulsion plant: 2 Marine boilers, 2 expansion engines, 2,400 hp.

Speed: 17 knots.

Endurance: 3,600 nm at 10 knots.

Coal capacity: 136 mt.

Crew: 107.
