Torpedo boat Jaguar.
These torpedo boats were similar to the preceding class except that they were a little bit larger.
They were named after animals of prey and the class known as Raubtier.
TECHNICAL DATA
Displacement: standard 933 mt, full load 1,320 mt.
Dimensions: Waterline length 89 m, overall length 92.6 m, beam 8.65 m, maximum draft 3.5 m, depth 5.2 m.
Armament:
• 3 x 10.5cm/L45 guns (changed to 12.7cm/L45 on Leopard and Luchs in 1932-33)
• 2 x 2cm/L65 guns
• 6 x 50cm torpedo tubes in two triple mounts (changed to 53.3cm in 1931)
• Up to 30 mines.
Propulsion plant: 3 Marine boilers, 2 turbines, 23,000 hp.
Speed: 34 knots.
Endurance: 2,200 nm at 20 knots, 3,900 nm at 17 knots.
Fuel capacity: 380 mt.
Crew: 120.
